Ryu Aberdeen lives on Celestia, a planet where everyone is divided up into twelve tribes. Each person has a mark on their neck indicating what tribe they belong to, what powers they have, and their personality. The problem is... Ryu doesn't have one. For eighteen years, she has been blending in and hiding her identity, or lack thereof. That, however, is all about to change as the election of the new King approaches along with the growing threat of civil war. Ryu is about to find herself thrown into a world she never knew existed... and she might not like what she finds.
