"I'll save you from the pirates." Katara ran into the back of his chest. She mentally cursed herself. She quickly bent some water to freeze on the fire prince's feet. It bought her just barely enough time to bend water to carry her away. Then the water began bending back towards the shore. One of the pirates was a water bender. They pulled me under and wouldn't allow me to take a breath of air, they crashed my body against the rocks several times before finally allowing me up. When I broke through the surface I took a deep breath. Zuko reached in and dragged me out, tying me to a tree. "Where's the Avatar?" He asked. And that's where it all began..... Under Editing!

*A Zutara fanfic* Kara has been living in a little fishing village in the northern Earth Kingdom for as long as she can remember--literally. She woke up on its shores nearly six months ago, and she knows that if it hadn't been for Aki, she'd be dead. She's accepted that her life is in this village now, whoever she may have been--to her mind, it's better this way. It's better not knowing. But then a boy comes to the village--a boy who carries himself like a man. He's different from anyone Kara's ever seen before, and he seems to know her, he seems to understand her in a way no one else has. His name, he says, is Lee, but he says no more than that, and Kara is lost. How is she supposed to reconcile the little she knows about herself with this handsome, scarred stranger? How is she supposed to know what to do, when she doesn't even know who, or what, she is? And, more importantly, how is the banished prince of the worst nation in history supposed to convince a girl with no memory--a girl that he believed to be dead because of his actions--that he's on her side, when he knows that if she ever remembers, she will hate him?

Katara is 18 and the Southern Water Tribe has held an uneasy allegiance with the Fire Nation for the last 100 or so years. When Katara's tribe goes through a food shortage, Katara takes it upon herself to make sure they survive. She agrees to enter a competition where the young Prince Zuko will choose a wife out of 35 women. Katara promises herself she only has to last a day until a truce she can't ignore is offered, and now Katara is in it for the long haul. A Zutara! Selection AU. What happens when Zuko's eighteenth birthday comes around, and the Gaang frantically compiles a birthday celebration? Probably disaster. POV Katara Crazyness, awkwardness, and a little bit of romance make up this short story. Enjoy! If you have any questions, just ask. "Oh, I'll show you lightning!" Azula starting her form, lightning beginning to form at her fingertips, Zuko was plenty calm. Zuko said he'd be fine, Azula was slipping, so why did Katara suddenly feel like things were about to take a turn for the worst? The lightning came out, but Azula was cunning and directed it away from Zuko, toward the waterbender in the background. He saw Azula's change and for the first time in his life when he looked at the waterbender he saw fear in her eyes, he knew how important she was to him and suddenly felt so protective as he jumped in front of that lightning strike. "ZUKO!"

This story takes place after the war has settled. Aang and Katara finally together, Zuko the firelord, Sokka being,...well Sokka, Toph happy and never to return home, and the nations were finally at peace. When team Avatar decides to return to the southern water tribe to visit Sokka and Katara's family, they end up bringing Zuko along, giving him a well deserved break of running the fire nation. However, feelings start to make themselves known. Feelings that Aang doesn't like, little does he know he ends up pushing Katara into the arms of the edgy firebender, which was the last thing he was trying to do. Will this new romantic relationship tear team Avatar apart? Will it make them stronger? Will Katara's new found heated relationship be accepted by her tribe? Can the group move past it, and continue on? Will Aang ever get over Katara and find someone new? Knowing it's never easy ridding the feeling of that first love. And one of the most importance will Zuko find his mother? On a different note Azula, the sister of the new firelord, has been in prison for quite some time, there is obviously no way of her being released on good behavior. She plans to escape and find Tai Lee and Mai and "ask" them once again to join her side and take her revenge on her brother Zuko, Katara, their friends, and the Avatar. And plans to overthrow and take over the fire nation, feeling that her father apparently wasn't strong enough to hold his place.

When Aang was shot down and claimed to be dead... Another had fallen and was also claimed dead, accept he was really dead. Prince zuko. When the gaang finds out the tragic death of the prince of the fire nations murder they almost seem to feel it's unreal, the boy that have hunted them will never bother them again... They all feel different about it, guilt, confused, even the thought of zuko not deserving it, but also anger yet relief... That's until one of them runs into the blue spirit and finds out a dark secret that only one other knows of. "Zuko?"

"Once bound by fire, Now by water. When they collide, Both are destroyed. Not just them, but so much more" Their love was already dismissed before they had a chance.
