Alex Gaskarth is a nobody. He's just one small speck that walks the world alone and barely makes it by. He's lived off of his parents ever since he graduated, but now that they've moved back to England and left him in Baltimore, he's barely able to pay to put food on the table. He doesn't have a job (and doesn't care to get one) so the only way that he's able to make money is playing guitar in the local park, but what happens one day when he's approached by a stranger who just so happens to also be a part of the richest family in Baltimore? Jack Barakat is a somebody. Being one of the four children of a wealthy industry owner, he pretty much has enough money to buy whatever he wants and more. He enjoys having money, but there's one problem... Eventually the money runs out and the fact that his father has an obsession with alcohol and his mother is addicted to cocaine isn't helping any. He thought he could have all the fun being rich, but he's at the point where he realizes that the money will eventually get to your head and he wants out of that life. That's when he stumbles across a man playing guitar in the park. That's when he realizes that he may get the chance to live "normally" for once. This is a story I am cowriting on mibba. I can and I will help him, without help he will never get out of here.. *** After Alex Gaskarth was hospitalized for his third suicide attempt this year his parents decided that it would be best for him to spend some time in the Teen Psychiatric ward of Valley Springs Hospital. There he has to share a room with Jack Barakat, who was possibly the worst person to room with due to his attitude, but when Alex discovers more about Jack and why he was there he begins to feel different towards the boy he was told to stay away from. Will Jack accept Alex's help and encouragement? Or will he shut himself away from Alex and refuse anything to do with him? Is what Alex feels towards Jack more than just the need to help him? Alex Gaskarth transfers to Dulaney High after certain incidents. The generally quiet, sad boy changes when he meets Jack Barakat.

One minute - that's all it takes for me to fall in love with the dusty blonde haired stranger and for Alex to be certain with the identity of his next victim - me. And there I was; drugged, tied to a mattress, raped, attacked and yet I felt guilty. It was my fault Alex was like this. I wasn't complying. I'd messed up his life and I need to feel sorry for him; he knows what's right and that's that I deserve this. I deserve this all.

If it wasn't for one faulty clasp, Jack Barakat and Alex Gaskarth would have been nothing more than another one night stand to each other. If Jack hadn't been rushing to college, they never would have met properly in the daylight. If Alex hadn’t had to get to work early, they never would have fallen for one another. If the pendant hadn’t caught the light, they never would have torn each other apart. But on that day, late January, that seemingly insignificant piece of metal did break. Jack was late. He's trying to mend his broken life, and is offered a fresh start after being expelled from his last school. Jack, on the other hand, is depressed. He feels worthless, like a waste of life and space, and has just about the lowest self-esteem possible. He's searching for the affection and comfort he so desperately needs. The meet at a bus stop one day, but are torn apart when Alex has to suddenly run off, without even giving the boys a chance to exchange names. Half a year later, the pair is reunited, when Jack is assigned to be Alex's tour guide on his first day at Dulaney High. Their feelings for one another quickly grow, though they're confused about where, exactly, the relationship is headed. Can the two boys help each other? Are they enough?

Lucas lives the life. At least, that's what it seems. If 'the life' could be known as partying nightly, waking up in bed with random girls who he can't remember the names of, and getting so drunk he can't even remember anything the next morning anyway. But that all changes when he parties, gets drunk... and wakes up beside a guy.

(This story says pg-13 but that's only in the beginning) Alex meets a guy named Jack online who also happens to live in Maryland. When the two boys meet and realize they actually go to school together things get a little harder than they already are for the both of them.~ (I really hope you guys like this bc I enjoy writing these :) )
