Until he meets Clove, that is. She intrigues him and makes him feel like he never had before. Soon enough, he falls for her, and against her father's wishes, she falls for him too. But how can this punk go out with none other than the preacher's daughter? Cato doesn't believe in God, but he starts doing a lot of praying to get his life back on track, and not make enemies with the best respected man in town. Can his love with Clove last?
