The trio have stuck by each other's side and are heavily co-dependent on each other. They have had their fair shares of dying and coming back to life. The last time Noah died, it was permanent. At the brick of the death, he begged Dean to let him die. To not bring him back. He just wanted to be at peace. Dean refused but after seeing the pain his brother was going through, he couldn't take that peace away from his brother who so rightfully deserved it. Noah wanted to have a hunter's funeral and have his ashes to be placed beside his mother's grave. Dean did exactly that. Years later, after stopping Amara from destroying the planet and universe; she gave him a present, well more like two presents.
