He doesn't like the real me so he made me make a deal with him. If I act the way he wants his perfect son to act, then he wouldn't hit me. Obviously he lied, but it will be much worse if I let my guard down. He's an alcoholic and so when he drinks he really, really drinks and he gets violent and I can't do anything. I can make him happy when he's sober, but that's the best I can do. I'm really trying. and I hate that I have to hurt people in order to live a normal life."
