Shikamaru ran into a small blond boy wearing a mask accidentally while trying to find a quiet spot to take a nap. Feared and shunned, the boy holds onto the most feared. Because of it, a curse was placed on him. A curse that the villagers hopes one day, he would activate and leave this world. Uncharacteristically, Shikamaru took interest.

If they had to guess, it all began after Naruto became Hokage. It had been getting hard at home with Boruto's constant bickering and the stress of finishing the mountains of paperwork. Shikamaru was in the same situation with Temari who had been avoiding him since he began working late. The two friends decided fuck it and drank the night away. They didn't know it would end up with them in bed, never stopping to even think about their wives and children. They just needed to relieve the stress, and who better than the person in the same boat. They didn't know it would become an addiction. Shikamaru is tired of his mom's constant nagging and wants a bit more privacy so he decides to move out. The problem is ninjas don't actually make that much money so he can't afford to get his own place (that isn't a complete dump). Luckily he finds someone not too troublesome to be his roommate. Naruto's just happy to have hot water.
