Merlin's life has become somewhat routine over the years, helping Arthur with his chores and naturally saving him from the dangers all around. So what will happen when Merlin discovers that Morgana had the King killed? What will he do? How will he handle things becoming more complicated when him and the newly King Arthur find Mordred in the woods with a band of smugglers? This is set before Morgana goes rouge, I've change some information and it will not be 100% cannon to the story line of the show. When Merlin saves Arthur from falling to his doom with magic, Arthur is furious. Unable to kill him, the king banishes Merlin from the land and the young warlock leaves, abandoning his destiny. Morgana learns of all of this and decides that this is her time to attack. Camelot will be defenseless without Emrys. Can Merlin forgive his friends in time to save Albion and his destiny?

Merlin offers to sacrifice himself in the place of his King. After being wounded, the Knights and his King rally round to support their best friend, their brother.

Arthur Pendragon begins to worry when his manservant, Merlin, stops showing up to work.

When Arthur finds out about Merlins magic during a bandit attack, Arthur banishes him from Camelot. After that, Merlin has no home to go to. For a while, he travels and lives in caves. He barely gets anything to eat. Then he stumbles on an old castle. In the castle there is the recipe for a potion to turn into a wolf. Merlin makes it, but he makes a mistake. Meanwhile, Arthur is going crazy without Merlin. A few days after Merlin's banishment, he sends out a search party for Merlin, regretting banishing him. After a weeks of searching, they still have not found Merlin. To distract himself, Arthur decides to go hunting. What will happen when he sees am indigo wolf with too familiar eyes during his hunt? Warning: This is a Murthur fanfic. If you do not like Merthur, do not read. This story was not my original idea, it is just elaborating on a oneshot done by @Merlintheclotpole . Only prior. Only a small amount of Torture in the story and some descriptions of it. Non-graphic. Just at the beginning. This is Hurt/Comfort Drama Romance with a dark element thrown in.
