They spent their lives in pet shops, just waiting for the dreadful day that they'll be bought. They were treated like animals, trained into what their master wanted, and punished if they misbehaved. Those who were lucky enough to live through that, we're to be slaughtered for their blood at age twenty-five in an act to make sure that our population would stay steady. I was born into this world. Awalnya, Berry nggak setuju kalo Keenan dijodohin sama cewek aneh itu. Kuki Keci. Cewek yang selalu membawa raket nyamuk kemana-mana. Awalnya, Berry cuma iseng aja deket-deket Keci. Awalnya juga, Berry sengaja gangguin Keci, pengen tau aja sifat asli calon kakak iparnya itu gimana. Tapi akhirnya, kok tiba-tiba Berry ngerasa sesuatu sih waktu sadar kalo ternyata cewek bernama Keci itu manis? Semua jadi super ribet waktu Keenan pulang dan ketemu ama Keci. Ups! Berry bingung. Ini cerita dari teman online sepupuku. Katanya di kota tempatnya tinggal ada urban legend tentang sebuah apotek yang menjual obat-obatan luar biasa yang berada di antara ranah fantasi dan sihir. Pengelola apotek itu--katanya lagi--adalah alkimis dan mereka sudah hidup selama ratusan tahun. Urban legend biasanya tidak benar dan hanya produk khayalan, kan? Tapi banyak yang mengaku menemukan "Apotek Saltman". Beberapa mengaku melihat melalui sudut matanya saat berjalan kaki menyusuri kota, beberapa lainnya mengaku benar-benar pergi dan mengunjunginya.
