They were forged in war and fractured by the same hands that made them monsters. Katherine Zola was born with a name she never chose, the daughter of HYDRA's most notorious architect. A child genius, a living weapon, and the program's most effective ghost. Her mission logs were sealed in blood and buried in silence-until one day, she was given a name: Sergeant James Buchanan Barnes. She didn't know why HYDRA wanted him-not at first. Only that she was ordered to track, weaken, and retrieve him. That her mission began before his fall from the train in 1945. That she was the reason he ended up in enemy hands. And she did it. She followed orders. She delivered him. What she didn't expect was to care. What she didn't plan for was falling in love with the man she helped damn. Bucky Barnes thought he was just another casualty of HYDRA-another soldier stripped of self and turned into a weapon. But the truth was darker. His capture wasn't chance. It was chosen. He was targeted by a girl with smoke in her lungs, ghosts in her eyes, and a lie tucked in her smile. A girl who became everything to him, right before she disappeared. Decades later, they stand on opposite sides of the same war-both survivors of mind control, both drowning in guilt. And both still tethered to each other by a past neither can outrun. Because she was his mission long before he ever became hers. -Set during Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Thunderbolts -long book, buckle up for the ride. #1 in thewintersoldier 9.24.25 #1 in original character 9.23.25 #2 in jamesbarnes 9.24.25 #3 in samwilson 10.9.25 #6 in wintersoldier 9.24.25

{SET BEFORE THE EVENTS OF 'THOR'} - "Did you know," she said, sitting on the ground and turning to the prince, "that Midgard has an entire language dedicated to flowers? Each of them mean something else. It's a very sweet way they can express emotions to each other." Loki laughed quietly. "Midgard can truly be backwards at times, but they are amusing." He nodded to the flower she had just essentially brought back to life. "What does the gardenia symbolize in this language?" "Young love," she answered after a moment of hesitation. "Secret love." Loki felt something flutter in his chest. - Arranged marriages are something out of Shakespeare and ancient history. At least that is the thought of Loki Odinson, but his father clearly has other plans. In a political move aimed to unite Vanaheim and Asgard, Loki is betrothed to the youngest daughter of the royal family of the neighboring realm, Vanaheim. Loki, who doesn't even know if he believes in love at all, finds himself in a very odd position, especially because he's met his betrothed before. A marriage date is set, but both the bride and the groom are less than satisfied. Can love grow out of circumstance? ' She breathed in deeply, picking up on a faint and fresh scent of mint on him. "Even if it's only me, is that enough for you?" Loki purred with a knowing smile, still hugging her tightly, "am I enough for you?" Pulling her head away from his chest, she looked up into his eyes. They were much closer than she'd ever seen them before. Blues and greens danced in his irises, and the emotion of love was strongly defined around his being. "Even if only one will see me, it is enough," she confirmed quietly, "but you...are more than enough." She wasn't sure why the breath caught in her throat, or why she found herself nearly speechless under his charming gaze. And he wasn't sure how she'd managed to get under his skin and into his heart, but there was no doubting that fact. The joy on Loki's face at hearing that he was more than enough for this woman made her feel as though she were flying through space. ' • • • She crashed into Earth with no memories at all. Until a familiar face brought everything back. Being more powerful than the God of Mischief himself, she was charged with the mission of gaurding Loki during his imprisonment in the Avengers Tower. Emotions blossom where they never could before as fate brings Loki and this woman closer than ever. • • • Takes place some time after the first Avengers film. ♡

What if Tony had convinced Steve to sign the accords immediately after the tunnel incident? What if Bucky had been sent to a psychiatric facility rather than Wakanda, and the downfall of the Avengers had never happened? James Buchanan Barnes is a walking shadow of his former self. His mind is a mess of half-memories, the only constant memory being of the color red. There's blood staining his hands- blood he never wanted there, but that's there nonetheless. When he's sent to the Virginia State Psychiatric Facility, just a few miles south of the capital of the United States, no one can seem to get much out of him. He remains just as mysterious as he was when he first walked in the doors. Until Athena, a specialist known for dealing with PTSD patients, is assigned to be his psychologist. And then suddenly a whole world of horrors is uncovered, and his repressed days of torture come screaming back to life in vivid color. As Athena gets to know him, she realizes that everything Steve has said- about Bucky being a victim, not a villain- is absolutely true. And suddenly she must fight to not only save Bucky from himself, but also to clear his name in the eyes of the world- because after all, she's the only one with undeniable proof of his past. The only thing is, she must find the courage to use it. Bucky x OC 《 copyright @jordan7095 》 Cover picture is not mine. it is from Tumblr. credit goes to whoever made it.

' "Put her down, Bucky." It was Steve. Staring up into Bucky's eyes that were now glued to the captain, Brenna saw the soft blue turn to steel. A low growl grumbled in his throat. He gently placed her back onto her feet, whipping a knife out of his belt. He pushed Brenna behind him protectively. Backing away with caution, Brenna could only watch as the suspense rose. "Don't make me do this," Steve pleaded, his voice sounding tired. But Bucky was gone once again, taken control of by the Winter Soldier. And the only thing that mattered now was completing his mission. The two lunged for each other. ' • • • Brenna Halliday Stark. She'd never dreamed that one day she would have superpowers; that one day, she would kill. One day, she would fall in love with an assassin under the control of HYDRA. But it happened. What starts as innocent curiousity almost costs Brenna her life many times. However, with new abilities arrising seemingly everyday, she becomes an incredibly powerful opponent. Including her grettest ability yet: the power to calm and even heal the Winter Soldier. • • • Takes place mostly during The Winter Soldier and the unfilmed events after that movie. For the sake of this story, Civil War and any movies afterwards never happen. I want there to be a nice, happy ending. ♡
