Autumn was abandoned at five years old and left at the Amity compound where she grew up. While adjusting to new challenges, an earlier encounter with a certain Dauntless member has Autumn developing new emotions she's never felt before and has her wondering when she should reveal her identity to him while realizing she isn't the only one falling for their Dauntless teacher.
