Samara comes closer to me, now studying my face. Her eyes are wandering all over my facial features. I contort my face in confusion at her weird stares, "Umm, hey-" "Listen, can you wear my wedding dress and be a bride at my place?" She questions. Ec-excuse me? I give her a long stare. I think she is joking and would burst into laughter any minute...but she doesn't. Her face has no trace of humour. "What?" I quirk up my brow. "You've to be a bride at my place." She repeats with no hesitation. Cold shiver trickles through me. .... An Accidental Bride. A Mistaken Groom. A Marriage Neither Saw Coming. 18-year-old Sanaya Frances was finding a way to pay for college. Becoming a cook in the grand Hobsons estate seemed like the perfect opportunity-until a twist of fate lands her in a wedding dress, hidden behind a veil, taking vows meant for someone else. Ashar Hobsons, 25, a powerful businessman, thinks he's marrying his childhood fiancée. But his world turns upside down-he's been tricked into marrying a stranger. Two strangers. She's been engaged to him since... for ever.... then..... her life turns upside down.... she was fatherless.... then she had a step father... then she was attacked... then... she was married.... to her fiance's brother!!!.... What the Hell???!!! DISCLAIMER/CONFESSION:- This story is based on one I had read somewhere some 10 years ago. I do not remember the exact storyline, but the plot was similar. It's been one of my favourite. I tried to revive the story in my own way. Moreover, since this is the first story I published publicly, I merely wanted to test the waters to see if I can step in this field. The intense positive response I received overwhelmed me and at the same time, made me feel guilty. That's why this DISCLAIMER! I wish I could get access to the original work. So... all copyrights belong to the original author and then to me. I would not want a third person trampling with this story. I hope I do not deserve any criminal lawsuits.... I would like to thank one of my readers for helping me recall the original author. She informed me that It's Maryam Aziz and the story was titled "Ye dilon ke rishtey". It was published in urdu language in a local monthly digest. A huge applause to the writer and heartfelt gratitude to the friend who messaged me about this. Jazaka Allahu Khair!
