Eiji grew up in a world where everyone could communicate with his soulmate telepathically and use other skills only soulmates possessed. Only Eiji couldn't. What was worse, Eiji felt his soulmate's immense pain through the bond and couldn't really help him except for showing him he wasn't alone... He always dreamed of meeting his soulmate one day.
