Fury has been keeping an eye on the Spider-Man for awhile now but it seems every time he gets even remotely close, Spider-Man slips away. So in order to find out who this Spider-Man is he sends in his most valuable assets. The Avengers. The Avengers find him alright. But they're not prepared for who's behind the mask of Spider-Man. Peter Parker doesn't have much going for him. Every he loves is dead, and the only thing keeping him going is protecting the citizens of NYC. When the Avengers get tasked to find out who Spiderman is, they soon learn things that will rock their world forever.

Peter has been living in an orphanage for almost a year after Aunt May died. His only escape from the now miserable life he lives is going out as Spiderman but no one can know who he is. The Avengers are sent to catch him on his patrols and unmask the young hero. How will he keep this secret if the ones who are after him show up at the orphanage and end up taking him in? After tragedy happens in the Avengers family, they feel closer to Peter then ever. Only when things start to fall into place and Peter starts to feel like he has a place with them, he has to return to Midtown Tech and face his fears. Can he keep everything that is happening at school a secret from his new over protective family and what will happen when Peter starts catching feelings for someone just for his world to crumble down again? After meeting Phil Coulson, Coulson takes Peter to meet the heroes. Impressed with his skills the Avengers gives him a tryout to see what the Web Head is capable of.

Peter's already having a bad day when he starts to feel unwell; but a nonstop downpour and Dr. Octopus schemes aren't helping the matter. The teen must learn the hard way that he can't carry the weight of the world sometimes. However, luckily our Itsy Bitsy Spider is not alone.
