He takes her under his wing, refusing to let a child suffer through homelessness on their own. Not like he had. They work through life together, learning about each other, themselves and building their relationship more and more along the way. After all, it was his chance to offer a less-fortunate child happiness and safety he never received growing up. (A self-indulgent fic with multiple chapters for me to work through some of my own life events, except with a decent parental figure.)

Finding an abandoned toddler, Aylee takes him in, only to find out he's one of UA's most promising young heroes. Now as his designated caretaker, she helps raise him while the quirk that turned him into a child slowly wears off.
