Roman just turned Fourteen and he thinks this year... he's gonna be mean. Fourteen year old Roman LaBoy had just moved from Puerto Rico to Florida with his father after the divorce. He had decided since now he's going into Highschool it's time that he started making some changes, like cutting his hair and binding his chest and changing his name from Ramona to Roman. He expects his freshman year to be a battle that he will have to fight his way through to become the prince he always dreamed of being but... it turns out... no. Because he meets someone who makes everything easier. Who makes everything turn out to be okay. Someone who eases him into the things he's insecure about and shows him that he can be a man just by being himself and that's all that matters. He meets Patton Stokes and strangely... he feels at home in this place.
