Corren's family is left shattered and in pieces after the suicide of Scott, Corren's brother. Six months later Corren has been in his third fight at school. His parents find this as an excuse to send him away, but Corren knows the real reason; they can't look him in the eye without seeing Scott. A new school, a new state, and a thousand miles away from home should mean a new start, but Corren is tired. He's tired of taking blades to his skin, he's done with his insomnia, and he's sick of feeling like Scott's death was his fault. Corren is without a doubt, tired of fighting. Drugs, love, family, friends. Being reckless is fun, but how far can you get before you're in too deep? Being this young, temptations are just begging for a chance! Will Corren win his battle, or is it too late for the boy with scars? [The Fighter's Series - Book 2] [Sequel to The Butterfly Effect]

What happens to them? ____________________ Author's Note: If you're looking for a sign not to kill yourself, this is it. "The Tell-Tale Heart" is a short story by American writer Edgar Allan Poe, first published in 1843. It is relayed by an unnamed narrator who endeavors to convince the reader of his sanity while simultaneously describing a murder he committed. The victim was an old man with a filmy "vulture-eye", as the narrator calls it. The narrator emphasizes the careful calculation of the murder, and he hides the body by dismembering it, and hiding it under the floorboards. Ultimately, the narrator's feelings of guilt, or a mental disturbance, result in him hearing a thumping sound, which he interprets as the dead man's beating heart. Cover by the lovely @FayLane.
