Syn is a friend of the Zolydck family and is a girl that possesses a powerful amount of nen ever since she was a child. Her parents dumped her in Meteor City at the age of 3 in hopes of protecting her from the outside world which got them killed in the process. Ever since then, she trained herself and survived until she decided to take the hunter's exam at the age of twelve.
