Levi Ackerman and his son, Eren, were alone together for over 4 years. Petra Ral-Ackerman died in a car accident when Eren was a year old. At that point, Levi vowed to not love another for a certain reason. During a little trip to the museum, Eren made a friend with a scientist: Hanji Zoe. Not wanting to disappoint his son, Levi allowed the two to get along. Unfortunately, it means that Levi would have to break his vow.

After waking up from dying in his sleep, Levi questions what he should do with his life. On top of that, he's gained an unwanted friend: Dr. Hanji Zoe, who was present when he woke up. Everything points back to him rejoining the Survey Corps, but he can't deal with the PTSD attacks alone, so Hanji comes along. It doesn't take Levi long to realize that he needs Hanji as more than just a doctor, but Erwin thinks differently, and will do whatever it takes to make Levi the soldier he used to be...

Eren was a friendly, carefree 13-year-old living in the city of New York, where he met a homeless teenager around his age. Pitying him, Eren gives the vagrant boy a dollar and his sweatshirt with hopes that he wouldn't freeze to death in the cold winter ahead. Four years later, and Eren is a 17-year-old that has a particular man crush for a rockstar he is a fan of. Eren is looking for a dance studio because he has a competition coming up and he doesn't want to lose. He finds his old dance studio from when he was a kid.
