"What about you Louis?" Harry asks Louis. He's just finished telling him about the new piano he'll be getting soon. "I don't like to talk about myself." Louis states bluntly. "Why not?" Harry questions. Louis turns his head to look at Harry. He examines him carefully, studying his jaw and cheekbones, his lips, his nose. He looks at his chin and his eyes and his ears. Every feature on his face, Louis just seems to soak up. "Too many people don't care enough. They simply ask me what I'm like out of politeness instead of curiosity." Louis speaks carefully. It's almost as if he says one wrong word he will be scolded or taken away. "I care." Harry says. "I know you do Harry." And with that last sentence being said, Louis gets up and disappears into the night.

Harry Styles is going into his third year of university and he's going to talk to the boy with blue eyes and pretty ankles he's been crushing on for the last two years if it's the last thing he does. With the help of his friends, he's thrown into a few awkward situations along the way.

I wrote this when I was like 15 so it's awful and horribly inaccurate regarding lots of stuff and the characters are really, really annoying. If it didn't have so many reads and votes and that I would delete it. He's been in and out of hospitals for years trying to find one. Every time he is about to get one something happens and someone else gets the heart. His mum abandoned him long ago when the expenses got to high. He has no one. Harry is intrigued by Louis's heart condition and takes a personal interest in him. He sometimes sits with him while he does his charts. No one ever comes to visit Louis and he thinks he must get lonely. Harry loves to watch Louis paint when he walks past their university's art studio each day and he finally works up enough courage to go and say hi. After being around Louis for a bit, he notices that there always seems to be bruises on his body and he becomes very determined to find out why.
