Hinata was kicked out by his mom for being gay, so he had no other option... to call his dad in america. He goes there for three months then he comes back to Japan totally different, 'what the hell happened to him' is all everybody can wonder.

Once Hinata's parents got divorced his mom sent him to live with his father, which also caused Hinata to transfer to Aoba Johsai. Hinata is done with team and them believing the new manager over him. So he decided to finally take his mother's advice, and turn over a new page. A new school, a new dream and a new Hinata. CURSING!

Everything was perfect at the volleyball club. Everyone was happy. Except Hinata. Ever since Izumi, the new player arrived. He felt replaced. Izumi was like Shoyo. He was bright. He was happy.
