HuaLian are so darn precious... I know that scene where they rush into each other's arms at the end, when Hua Cheng returns a year after that fateful battle of Mt. Tonglu, required no words between them, the way MXTX wrote it.... It was perfect. But, but, I wondered what they would say to each other in the next moment, the moment after they had run into each other's arms. The three thousand lanterns in the sky... and so I wrote this little scene. PS: I am not an ungrateful fan :D Ofc we did get that epilogue with the inauguration of the rebuilt Puqi shrine and the calligraphy at Qiandeng Temple, and I am grateful for the extras... thank you, MXTX for being so gracious with those extras. ************************************************************************************************* No copyright infringement intended.
