But when Gar's parents die he has to go live with his aunt and uncle in a different state and they got separated. They promised they would see each other again and that they would never change. Many years later his Aunt and Uncle miraculously won the lottery and gave Gar a choice on what they should do with it. He chose to move back. Gar's number one goal was to find Raven.
