The story starts when she arrives in the midst of a family broken up by her brother's unbridled womanizing—something that prefigures her own later situation, though with less tolerance for her by others.

Cecelia Bloom has just moved to Lake Gloria, a town no one really knows about, all because of her unblanced step father. Lake Gloria is a town of many wonders and history. As Cecelia starts to get involved of the history of the town, she starts to get involved with the people. Cecelia focus's on living in the present and never to regret any mistakes. But what if something major happens in Cecelia's life? Will she waste time worrying about it or go on living? Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections.
