And for the first time in a very long time, JJ felt at ease. The burning sensation in his chest that had resided there for weeks was replaced by the warmth of Kiara's cheek resting against it. The constant headache he could never shake was replaced with a sense of contentment. The churning of his stomach caused by the constant anxiety that was his life now was replaced by a warm, butterfly feeling caused by the girl asleep in his arms. And fuck, JJ could get used to that feeling. - JJ x Kiara I do not own any of the characters. Plotlines were inspired based off of the Netflix series "Outer Banks". The Pogues are broken following the presumed deaths of John B and Sarah. With Pope and his chances of a scholarship ruined, Kiara and any trust her family had left for her gone, and JJ dealing with his dad's rage following him stealing the boat, is there really any hope for them ever getting past this? Or will the trio be forever stuck in the past?
