Aria is the oldest daughter out of her other four siblings. She's lived with Gon and his aunt since Piper disappeared and Ayato went to go look for her. She disappeared when Aria was eight years old and her baby sister was three months old. When Aria's baby sister, Kaya, was five months old, Ayato had taken his four kids to Piper's good friend and Aria's best friend's house to stay until he gets back. It's four years later and neither of her parents have returned. Aria has decided to help Mito and protect Gon also. When Gon catches the Master of the Swamp, Aria is forced to go with him on the ship to go to the Hunter's Exam. Along the way, she struggles at times missing her younger brothers and sister. Then she meets some new friends along the way and people make fun of her just because she doesn't want to become a vampire hunter and become a normal hunter. Then it gets on her last nerve and everyone meets a real Sakamaki child.
