Aurora Lamar is a small town girl with dreams of barrel racing in the National Finals Rodeo. She's not your average girl. He works constantly to try and make his family proud of him. However that is hard to do when his parents disapprove of his lifestyle. Charlie Reese is a sorority girl at Auburn University- the typical blonde with blue eyes that resemble the ocean. She was raised on an apple farm in Georgia, wanting to escape the small-town life for a few years to fulfill her dream of being an interior designer. She is organized, having a plan for everything, including her life. She catches the eye of Colt Dutton, a cowboy from Montgomery, Alabama, whose southern accent makes her weak at the knees. Colt brings out the country girl in Charlie, teaching her to ride and compete with him at rodeos. They are undeniably similar, both having lucky tattoos and the same interests. They will both attend a rodeo in Auburn, Alabama, where the bull riding winner gets to choose one lucky woman in the crowd to be his Rodeo Queen for the night. Every woman fantasizes about being chosen, and it's a very competitive competition. After meeting at the drink stand, Charlie fantasizes about Colt winning and choosing her as his queen.
