A hated prophet. An abused prophet. A mourning prophet. Jeremiah lived at the time of the final years of Jerusalem and Solomon's Temple of Yahweh. Yahweh, the God of Israel, chooses Jeremiah to warn the rebellious people to turn back to Him or else disaster will come from the northern lands. Will the people accept mere rebuke and calling to change their bad lifestyle? Or will they reject Jeremiah for "threatening their way of life"? Here is a continual narrative based on the Book of Jeremiah in the Old Testament. (NOTE: book still in process. Subject to change.)

As Christians we are to reading the Bible and pray every day to grow in our relationships with Christ. I confess I do not do that nearly as often as I should, so I am making this book to keep myself more accountable for that. If you would like a daily Bible Study/Devotional this is for you. I go from Acts to James, Ecclesiastes and some of the Psalms in here.

Hello!!! You might be coming from my previous Daily Bible Reading and Prayer, or you might be new. Either way, welcome! If you are wondering whether you should read the first one first, I would say, you can if you want, but you really don't have to. So what is this book exactly? The title is pretty self explanatory, but I will explain more. I started this because I used to neglect my devotions, always making excuses. By doing this I am keeping myself accountable, I say I will do a chapter a day, so if I don't, I will be lying. How I do this is first I copy and paste a chapter from the Bible(I'm currently in Hebrews and Psalms), then as I read it, I make notes, and then I pray. I hope you will be blessed by this book! Btw, I'm using ESV for this one, I used KJV for the last one. I want to try ESV because lots of people, including my crush, say it is more accurate. I do try to update this every day, but I go to Bible study on Thursdays and every other Sunday, and I often don't get home till rather late, so I don't always do this those days.

The Holy Bible has a lot of story matter. We have, for example, love (take Ruth or Song of Solomon), history (take Chronicles or Acts), poetry (take Psalms or Proverbs), war (take Joshua or Judges), redemption (take John or Romans), prophecy (take Jeremiah or Revelation). The Bible can be retold (and translated, while we're at it) in a variety of ways. Here, I retell some of the Bible stories - whether well-known or not-that-well-known. Many turn to the Bible for inspiration, and so do I. The short stories will be based on various translations; it will be specified which translation is used at the ending of the chapter, along with the Bible reference for the story.

The four gospels are tuned together into one steady story. The events in the gospels are divided into diverse (and oftentimes short) stories, yet the Bible selections will be given there in the title of each story. This harmonizing is made to make it easy to read the accounts at the same time. But if only one gospel tells a singular story, it'll still be here. MY STORY: I was doing these on a Composition Notebook. It was a College Ruled, and I wrote out the blended-together accounts applying and taken from the New King James Version (I have a couple of print NKJVS, thus I had 2, 3, or 4 open NKJVs when writing it on paper). I highlighted portions or even paragraphs unique in Mark (in pink), Luke (in yellow), and John (in orange), while Matthew is just unhighlighted. I ultimately decided to present my work on Wattpad. However, since the NKJV is copyrighted, I resolved I would use the World English Bible instead for this. It's operating well so far.
