Shortly after World War II, something happened to the human race-something extraordinary. After so much death, humans grew to evolve. Some became stronger, others faster. However, many developed more dramatic abilities-superpowers, to put it simply. Some "Paragons," as they deemed themselves, could fly; others could read minds. And some of them got completely fucked in the power department. Not everyone evolved to possess these skills. These people-muggles, cripples, "Voids"-were viewed as lower; to Paragons, they were useless, worthless wastes of space. Anyone weak was like a bug to them; well, most of them. As anyone would expect, when a good portion of the world becomes powered, some of them are bound to have a superhero complex.

Roman is the prince of a kingdom where magic has been made illegal after the disappearance of his brother. When his kingdom is threatened by magic extremists, he thinks they should embrace magic in order to fight back. He runs into a young magic user and decides to help him in hopes that the guild he's part of will help his kingdom.

{prinxiety} Good and bad is so subjective. Who's to say who's the good guy and who's the bad guy? Roman, Patton, Logan. Virgil, Damian, Remus. The two groups look and feel like two extremely different category's. Good. And bad. But are you really bad if you're going forced to do things? And are you really good if you're always presuming the worse? Are you still bad if you don't know who you are? This has been playing out in my head for a while, so I thought 'why not make it an actual story?' And so I did. But recently the arguing was just getting worse and worse until one day Janus went too far and it pushes Virgil off the tipping point. He tries to erase himself. When the others finally catch wind of his absence they know they have to try get him back. But... is it too late for him? Plus, will the attempt to get him back reveal some deeper history between Virgil & Roman that the Minor Sides aren't too happy with? When Virgil lifted his head from his hands, he locked eyes with Princey. He looked shocked and afraid and a million other emotions that swirled together in a jumble of curiosity and confusion. Virgil calmed the panic in his brain quickly enough to stand. "I-I'm just going to-to go..." he whispered, suddenly more interested in his feet than Roman's face. He made his way to the door a few feet away, ignoring the sound of movement behind him. "Virgil, wait!" Roman grabbed onto his wrists, stopping him. Instantly, the anxiety bubbled up inside of him and Virgil's hand began to shake. "Please let me go..." He mumbled, the sound barely audible, even in the uncomfortable silence that hung in the room like smog. "Virge-" "Please..." A single tear dropped from one of his eyes as he squeezed them both shut as tight as he could. Slowly, Roman's grip loosened and Virgil reached for the doorknob, slipping out of the room and into the safety of his own. ATTENTION: This book is undergoing editing. In some places, it's major, like deleting an entire scene, and in others, I need to change wording around because I don't have an editor to tell me that things sound like shit.

Virgil has been mistreated in the past. A young man with glasses and a black polo shirt believes that he can be the one to save him and put his pieces back together, despite being shattered himself.

Logan had five brothers that he had to take care of ever since their parents died in a fire. Now it was up to him to protect and care for them.

Anxiety bothers Thomas and Prince banishes him from the forefront of Thomas's mind. Unfortunately, Management is set on Anxiety. What will happen when Prince and the others find out what Anxiety's been going through? Will anyone get their happy ending, or will it all end horribly?
