During the end of the US tour for Beck and the girls band Ray shows up and saves the day. However, when he took off suddenly he left a lot of hurt feelings behind and some aren't so willing to forgive him. Especially Laila, but that doesn't stop Ray for trying to make it up to his ex girlfriend. On the last day of the tour the two bands have a day off so they decide to head to a man made lake to go swimming and relax. Will Ray be able to sway Laila or will her stubbornness and hurt win on this suppose to be lazy day.

Hazuki Tōketsu is a pretty normal sixteen year old who loves to surf. After something tragic happened in her life, she's finding it hard to find a way out of her misery. Her family decides it would be best for her to move back to her birth place of Japan, for a change of scenery. Besides with dealing with her depression she now has to start a new high school, with all the drama that goes with it and in a country she hasn't been to in years. As Hazuki is making all new friends she finds out someone she has grown close to has started to have feelings for her. While she is trying to deal with feelings for someone else that she wasn't anywhere near ready to deal with, especially when all they ever do is argue.
