This is a concept I had in mind for a little while, what if Dream had an evil counterpart known as Paralysis. Sleep Paralysis to be exact since Nightmare was a bit iffy even if it makes sense since dreams and nightmares are the opposite, but what about being frozen in fear unable to move as something dark and evil slowly approaches with no escape. Also as a heads up their may or may not be graphic scenes that contain gore and characters descending into madness. Doomsday was over for many when humanity had lost their final fight to the mechanicalized aliens. Following the last fight, the prospering government had fallen and cities were decimated, the worldwide population falling to less than one percent of what numbers humanity used to have. The 20th century marked the near extinction of mankind, with only a few stragglers attempting to survive in the post - apocalyptic Earth. It is also the beginning of an era where mechanicalized aliens seized reign over the planet where humans had once dominated. This is a story that follows the lives of two in the post-apocalypse that has varying stakes, but ultimately the same goal. One of them was Clay, codenamed Dream. He was, unwillingly, a weapon for the goverment - a soldier with inhumane abilities. Resolute and with the strong will to protect those who he love, his intentions lay in wanting to restore Earth into its old, glorious form and provide a safe sanctuary for those he hold dear. The other was a teenager. Born and bred in a civilization far away from destruction and harm, he had grown up carefree and naive. Unfortunately, a fateful day had drastically changed his view on the world - he tried alongside his friends since that day, hoping for his efforts to be not in vain, to reverse the damages done to Earth. Given their circumstances, it is near impossible for the two to converge. So how will event after event transform the impossible into the possible?
