Gerard Way is the school's Norman Bates. He's freaky, he acts like he's constantly anticipating something, and he does taxidermy. People fear him, and quite honestly, he gets off on it. There are so many bad rumors circulating about him that even he isn't sure which ones are true. Meanwhile, Frank Iero has a reputation for himself. He's an idiot. A comedic one, especially with his friend James, but an idiot. He once came to school high off his ass and passed his math exam with flying colors. It was a dumb move, but an entertaining one. Gerard doesn't quite understand why his hair turned completely white when he was only nine years old. There's a list of things he doesn't understand, such as why he can't leave the house after 6pm or why his mother was frantic to cover his hair when they went on family outings. He even wondered why he was pulled out of school after being neglected by all of his teachers. He just wasn't aware that he was a menace, a creative mind with too much power that was being brought into a ring of public shame. He was a Diff. Frank Iero, on the other hand, was a Same. He was a role model, the apple of his mothers eye and the ideal teenager that anyone could ever ask for. Yet, even the most perfect seeming person could have so many secrets that needed to be kept from the people like him. Frank's little secret just happened to be the fact that Gerard Way infatuated him.
