Four brothers. One small town. And a past that just won't let her go. • • • Benny Lane didn't come to Cedar Creek to make friends. She came to disappear. But small towns don't let strangers slip by unnoticed. Especially not when four protective brothers seem to be everywhere she turns. Beckett, with his quiet watchfulness. Sawyer and Dawson, with their easy banter that chips away at her walls. And Wells, the sheriff, whose steady stare makes her pulse race for all the wrong reasons. When the Eclipse Pack approaches him with an offer, Alpha Theo Stormblade doesn't ask why. He only asks one thing: "How much do they want?" Theo-once the Kingdom's most beloved, extroverted leader-has spent the last five years carved into stone. Cold. Detached. Unreachable. Since the death of his mate, the legendary Alpha has refused every attempt to push him toward a new bond. But when the elders insist he must produce an heir, Theo agrees to only one thing: A contract. A surrogate. Nothing more. Millie Rose has spent her entire life being overlooked. An orphan. A servant. A maid in one of the poorest packs in the Kingdom. Her parents were once powerful warriors, but Millie's future has been reduced to scrubbing floors, obeying orders, and surviving on scraps of respect. Until her pack sells her. When the Eclipse Pack hears the Stormblade Alpha is seeking a woman capable of bearing a strong heir, they offer Millie-quiet, obedient Millie-in exchange for desperately needed money. She meets every requirement on paper. Except one: She has no idea how dangerous Theo truly is. Brought to the Stormblade Kingdom under the terms of a cold-blooded agreement, Millie expects chains of duty. Theo expects silence and submission. But the moment their eyes meet, something ancient stirs-something neither of them agreed to, and something Theo refuses to acknowledge. He wants an heir. He does not want a heart. Millie wants freedom. She does not want to fall for the wolf who bought her. But fate has plans neither contract can contain. When secrets rise, desire ignites, and old wounds begin to bleed, one question remains: Will Millie become nothing more than the mother of his heir... or the Luna who heals a broken Alpha?

Joleen hopes to forget everything on the fringes of space. Even if she decided to turn back home, everyone who knows her back on Earth will be dead, and that's probably for the best. There are only three others on the all-but abandoned space station, but they don't ask too many questions, so Jo settles down for a long, quiet life drifting in the stars. Until an unadvised manned mission brings back an alien in the form of an obsessive, instinct-driven demon. None of them are trained for this. Note from the Author: For those who don't know, I am not a sensitive noob when it comes to criticism. How to handle criticism and, more importantly, how to use it is something they teach you in college as well as something you figure out when you're studying writing. So, if you lot have anything to point out, such as plot holes or 'this loser's character makes no sense, destroy him,' please let me know. I appreciate your feedback. For reals. Or is it fo shizzle?

She gasped and used the little strength she had left to turn around and look at the man, but certainly not a human one. Muscles rippled across every part of his toned body, nearly seven feet tall in height. His left arm, shoulder blade, and part of his rib cage were scattered with reptilian-like scales that almost appeared like diamonds that glistened in the sunlight. He had thick, pure white hair tied in a braid that laid across his muscular bare back, ending at his hips. He had prominent cheekbones and a well-defined chin and jaw. Beneath his brows, his lavender eyes were as direct as expected, not even blinking as much as the average person. Unfortunately, his haunting eyes landed on the small human, seemingly examining her shaking figure closely. His lips curved into a grin, revealing his dangerously sharp teeth. Realization dawned on her, he was going to eat her. Little did she know, he was actually going to marry her. • snippet • She pulled out of his hold and took a step back. "You want to use me." She rasped. His lavender eyes widened and he took a step towards her, making her take two back. "No, that's not-" Her chest heaved as her worst fear was coming to the light. "That's why you've been trying to win me over. You wanted to- to impregnate me! And... And now I'm here, naked in the water with you!" She snapped, hot tears gathering in her eyes. "Holy shit, I'm naked with you." She exasperated, like she just now realized what she's done. She's never felt more exposed and terrified in her life. She was completely vulnerable to him in that moment. He could pounce on her in a split second, have his was with her, and she wouldn't be able to stop him. There it was again. The sheer terror in her eyes, and it was directed at him. Nothing hurt him more than that. • Highest rankings: #1 fiction #1 young adult #1 alien love #1 area 51 #1 stockholm syndrome #1 dark #1 arranged marriage #2 mates #2 wedding #3 alien #3 king
