This is a sequel to my first book, Even if Time Runs Out. He didn't know how he'd done it but he did. Now Asahi Azumane has graduated high school and is off to college. Nishinoya Yuu is a third year and the team is thriving. Of course, he still texts and calls his soulmate all the time, but it just isn't the same. There is a hole growing inside him. He knows Kouhai Yachi Hitoka feels the same way. Can they work together to fill in the empty cavities in their hearts? Or will Nishinoya and Yachi bend too far and break?

The team has finally comeback from the their match with The Grand King. Everyone is quiet and a spikey-haired boy is also quiet. Maybe a little too quiet.

In which Nishinoya asks Asahi to run with him; away from the responsibilities of the life injury forced him to build and back to the memories of a future that he used to have.
