Chiyo Sakura, the eldest daughter of the Chiyo household, one of the most well known and richest families in the country is set to marry none other than the figure skating superstar of Japan, Yuzuru Hanyu due to the promise that both of their grandparents made years ago. Both of them have struggles and problems of their own, and as time passes they soon find themselves falling for each other. They learn how to help each other overcome the pressure and expectations of the people. Both new to love, they try to understand and discover the feelings that they hold for each other. Who will confess first?

Yuzuru Hanyu is currently one of the best figure skaters in the world, and with the Olympics looming in just over a year, the stress of whether or not he will successfully defend his Olympic title is slowly wearing him to the bone. However, when Yuzuru suddenly decides to move to Toronto, Canada to train with his fellow skating competitor Javier Fernandez, everything changes.

What if... The skaters could live the lives that they never got to fully experience? In a parallel universe, none of the skaters know how to skate. No trainings to attend, competitions to take part in, nothing. Instead, they lead ordinary high school lives, complete with homework to do, friends to make, crushes to crush (not really). There is a catch, however. All these skaters all go to the same university prep school. Bonding over misunderstanding each other through the language barrier. How wonderful This is what happens when you take a handful of your favorite figure skaters, two overly obsessed skating fans (Who fail at writing but nevertheless, still write stories.) and dump two (heaped) tablespoons of exaggeration stir it together and BAM! (maybe make that 4) There you have it, Skaters 101. (but without the skating) This is a purely fictional crack fiction. Any references to real life people or incidents are all by coincidence.
