"I'm James Potter," the one with the glasses winked. "Sirius Black," the second grinned, "and who are you?" "Marlene- Marlene McKinnon," Marlene replied, "and this is-" "Remus Lupin," Remus said. "Well Marlene- Marlene McKinnon and Remus Lupin, I am sure we will be seeing more of you," Sirius Black gave them a cocky grin, "but for now, me and my good friend here must bid you goodbye." Sirius grabbed James's arm and the two hurtled off as the prefect who they were hiding from stuck his head into the compartment. "Oh Hogwarts is going to be so much fun!" Marlene grinned at Remus.' Marlene McKinnon had always been excited to begin her education at Hogwarts. Growing up, her parents had always told Marlene and her sister stories of their time at the school. But Marlene is growing up in troubled times. Voldemort is slowly gaining power, and it's just a matter of time before the whole wizarding world is wiped out. Some stories have a happy ending. It's fourth year for the Marauders. During summer, Remus is always at a dog park. One day he sees a big black dog who wont leave him alone. Remus doesn't mind though. He is completely oblivious.

Lily Evans has hated James Potter ever since their first year at Hogwarts. It's not something that Lily ever expects to change. But outside the castle walls, a dark wizard is rising. No one is safe anymore. Lily is thrown into this fight, merely because she is a muggleborn. Even with her magical abilities, she is fighting to have a place in the magical world. Will she be alone in this fight, or will someone she never expected join her?

The Marauders are starting their fifth year at Hogwarts; Remus is starting with a massive scar across his face - a byproduct of the increasing severity of his furry little problem, which is a definite cause for concern despite his insistence that it it's fine. Sirius is starting with the memories of a certain morning at 12 Grimmauld Place in August: memories that he might not ever forget, yet is desperate to cloak underneath the facade that every is fine at home and that he and his parents just sometimes encounter minor disagreements. James is starting his fifth year, yes, but more importantly, he is starting phase five of his plan to woo Lily Evans: somehow his friends seem doubtful that he might succeed, but James, being James, is in no lack of confidence. And Peter, well, Peter is starting to wonder just why he puts up with these people, and if he should really be feeling sorry for Lily Evans, and maybe if he should have asked to have been sorted into Hufflepuff.

Remus had woken up from a transformation after fainting only to see his unconscious best friend Sirius Black blooded up with nasty cuts and bruises everywhere. He's a monster. He has killed his best friend... HOW DO SO MANY PEOPLE EVEN WANNA READ THIS SHIT LMAO THANKS SO MUCH --- I'm aware of the ridiculous amount of spelling and punctuation mistakes but honestly I can't be bothered to go back and change it all. My writing style is completely different to what it once was so unfortunately this book won't be carried on.

[EDITING] "Evans!" James grinned, strutting towards her. "Fancy seeing you here, and I'm here too, with you-not with you-but both of us... at Hogsmeade." "Bloody hell," she muttered, withdrawing from her hiding place. The loud thwack of her head colliding with the wood of the table cut through the bubbly pub. James let out a snort, flung his cloak lazily onto a chair across from her and sank down into it, sipping happily at his butterbeer. "Whatever were you doing down there, Evans?" He raised his eyebrows suggestively. "Shove off, Potter..." James Potter was an intolerable prick. A dim-witted, egotistical toerag who wasn't worth Lily's time. Well, unless, in the case of a good telling-off, that was very much worth it.
