After being left behind by All Might on the rooftop, Izuku starts to see the world in a different way. He realises he doesn't need to be a hero to save people. A vigilante will do. And Aizawa is a tired caterpillar who cares too much for the kitten who roams the streets.

Izuku was denied the one thing that he loved: being a hero. At age 11, he was told he couldn't be a hero by the #1 hero and his idol, All Might. He had almost took his life at that point, but Eraser Head found him and took him home. Eraser Head said Izuku could become a hero if he put the work into it, regardless if he had a quirk or not, and Izuku took those words to heart. So he started a plan to become a vigilante; a hero who wasn't bound by the law. All Izuku wanted to do was save people, and he will. Izuku will shove it in All Might's face that he can in fact become a hero, all while being quirkless.
