This is based off of canon Banana Fish, so some events occur as they do in the anime. However, as most things diverge from the original, a butterfly effect takes place. It was dark and the rain poured down mercilessly on him. His hair dripped, his clothes were soaked and stuck to his body. At first, he couldn't see anything, but after a while he realised that he was standing at a junction. How had he come here? He tried hard to remember. Fragments appeared before his inner eye. Scenes like from a film... his first meeting with his roommate, the first meeting with the other residents of the dormitory... the countless hours with his new friends, the laughter together... he thought back to the last weeks. And he thought about him. When he saw his dark eyes and his laugh, the way he hugged him... despite the cold, his heart was warm, and he smiled involuntarily. He felt a longing rising within him. It became stronger and stronger, as if every fibre of his body were consumed by touch. He could almost feel it. He imagined it ... at least he tried. But his imagination could not do him justice, it seemed as if he were slipping away. He couldn't stand it any longer, he had to go to him, immediately. His body moved seemingly without his help, his legs carried him further and further. He ran along the street, but still he didn't seem to get away. He ran faster, but it didn't change anything. He became more and more desperate, but after running for hours, as it seemed, without covering a meter, he gave up. What was going on? He got down on his knees, he could no longer hold back the tears. He wanted only one thing, to hug him again. Author's note: This story contains violence and clear content.
