Death prowls the Basque town of Guernica, besieged by a civil war, and it falls on the shoulders of one cowardly but romantic soldier to save it...if he can overcome his anxiety first. *** Set in the Spanish Civil War, the town of Guernica has remained relatively out of harm's way of General Franco's Nationalist faction and their push to conquer all of Spain. Alférez Sebastián "Sebas" Goicochea, an officer fighting on behalf of the Basque Republican Army, dreads the day when the town inevitably falls to the oncoming Nationalist forces, aides by the Nazi regime. But after the mysterious disappearance of several of his squad mates, and reports of disturbing sounds coming from all over the town, he realizes that the enemy does not come bearing uniforms and weapons, but crosses and priest's clothing. That, and the skin of his former comrades. Follow Sebas and his squad as they overcome their personal demons in order to battle new ones, to save the love of his life, and to stop the advance of the Nationalist/Nazi forces from destroying the only place he calls a home. Will he have the courage to save what he holds dear the most? Or will his anxiety paralyze him when he stares at the face of death? Cover by: @Azanthiel

Matthew has always wanted to be Miya, practically since birth. But who can she tell? Her family is in shambles after her father left to be with his mistress. Her friends are oblivious, what with her guy friend trying to get together with her girl friend. Even strangers tell her what a nice and 'handsome young boy' Matthew is, and hope she doesn't change from that. Is this the one thing Matthew has to go through alone? Or would there be a little help for her to reach her goal to become who she really is? (ROUGH DRAFT) If you're interested in reading more of Miya's story, you can find it in my collection of shorts, Looking Forward.
