Lily Evans has a temper and about this much patience for James Potter and his friends. When James' parents are getting sick Lily notices James is less like himself. She buckles her seat belt and gets ready for the ride, because it'll be over soon. This is a story about love, death, and hatred.

"Oh, well, he always made a fool of himself whenever Lily was around," said Sirius, shrugging. "He couldn't stop himself showing off whenever he got near her." "How come she married him?" Harry asked miserably. "She hated him!" "Nah, she didn't," said Sirius. "She started going out with him in seventh year," said Lupin. "Once James had deflated his head a bit," said Sirius. ~ Lily Evans is basically the girl everyone wants to be. Everyone knows her, everyone likes her, especially one boy called James Potter, flirt, troublemaker, arrogance extraordinaire. But maybe James likes her a little more than he'd like to admit. Maybe. Just maybe. Maybe he likes her a lot more than he lets people think.

Lily Evans has recently lost her parents, due to an attack from Death Eaters. Her friends think she's coping fine, but James Potter knows better. In their 7th and final year at Hogwarts, can the Head students learn to lean on each other when the other needs them the most?
