A my hero academia fan fiction where All Might didn't lose the slime monster... and Izuku, dreams freshly crushed, decides to help in a way even a "quirkless Deku" like him could. He becomes an information broker for the heroes. Because while his dream had always been to be a hero, his goal had always- and will always- be helping others, and come he'll or high water, he would not give up on that. With this in mind he began analyzing quirks and training his brain so he could surpass even analytical quirks. And further so his information would surpass all other's. And like that his name began to spread- Deku, the top quirk analyst, with his all seeing quirk Pantomath. I make nothing from this, except excuses for what I do with my time. Theirs a mental institution, for traumatized kids. These kids need to learn to live again. For some, it's been ten years. For some, five. But all of them were broken. Some have no hope left. Some have no will or motivation. Others still have seen too much. But it's been three years, and no new kids have come. No ones left, or healed during this time. Things have been going okay, progress has been made, and things are looking up. During the past three and counting years, the kids have grown close, and learned to cope better, and look out for each other, creating a home for themselves. They go to school, and visit other places, and do more things than they could before. They care for each other. Their a family now. So when a new kid comes, that no one can get to speak, or do much, what happens? This green haired kid, who has seen hell and back, who barely reacts to anything. Can the others help him heal? Can they heal? Maybe even one day, can they learn to relive and enter the world once again for themselves?

"Where are your parents?" He asks, but the child just continues to munch on the blueberries without care. And then Shouta realizes that he probably has no idea what he's saying. He bends down until he's practically on the concrete with the kid and that's when the kid finally noticed his presence. "My name is Eraserhead. I'm a hero. Can you tell me your name?" The kid just looks at him with a blank stare and goes back to the blueberries. So Shouta tries again. "Do you have a mommy or a daddy?" His head snaps up, and he shoves a dirty blueberry into Shouta's face. Okay. That was a dead end. - or Shouta and Hizashi have been waiting for their missing puzzle piece when they stumble upon a curious green-eyed kid who loves blueberries. Fluffy, chaotic family shenanigans ensue.
