[On Hiatus] Izuku Midoriya can't remember a time when he didn't want to be a hero, a time where he didn't have the innate urge to help anyone, and everyone around him. Everyone around him had always told him that he couldn't do it, that he was weak, worthless, or not worth the time, but he never gave up, because he had made a promise to himself, a promise to his mother that he would become a hero.
