We all tell lies; to ourselves, to friends, to family, to strangers, to everyone. After all, little white lies are what hold society together. But the secret Patton hides is hardly little. In fact, it could end up killing him.

When one of Logan's experiments goes wrong, it causes Virgil and Roman to fuse, it also causes Logan and Patton to fuse. Logan and Patton turn out to be pretty calm about the situation and work together without a hitch; Virgil and Roman, on the other hand, freak out. They have to learn to get along until Logan/Patton can get them back to normal. Will they find a way to deal with each other, or with they tear themself apart before Logan/Patton can fix them?

When Virgil accidentally drinks a potion that turns him into a baby, the sides have to figure out how to turn him back into his real self.

In this world once someone turns 17 a name appears on their dominant hands wrist, the name of their soulmate. And when the clock strikes midnight a name in a rich crimson ink appears on Virgil's wrist.
