After three months of being locked up in his own kingdom, Hans is finally hauled to Arendelle to face Elsa, the woman he tried to kill on the frozen fjord for the throne. With his oldest brother, King Adrian of the Southern Isles, by his side, the two face the snow queen to discuss about the consequences Hans shall face. This isn't a story about forgiving the enemy nor it is a tale full of revenge. "My decision has been made and it shall not be changed."

The story begins on Anna's 21st birthday, three years after the events of 'Frozen'. Everyone at the castle are living happily together, but Elsa feels like something is missing. Even though she learned to control her powers, she still isolates herself in her room and has the most terrible nightmares. As Anna and Kristoff's relationship flowers, she can't help herself but feel lonely. When Hans unexpectedly turn up, Elsa will have to deal with her feelings. But forgiving isn't easy...

And with that, he lost her.

At the beginning of the story Hans has escaped from Arendelle's jail and Elsa has to go searching for him. Years after Prince Hans has returned to the Southern Isles, life for Queen Elsa and Princess Anna seems to have blossomed. Elsa still doesn't have a love interest and doesn't really care for having a man in her life. Anna's life has just begun with marrying Kristoff and now expecting their first child in a few months. What will come of their lives when Hans returns to Arendelle?
