Wanting to become a professional ballerina, new girl Mai is going to attend the School of Dance in the big city. Being the new girl at school, she becomes the new class star and makes a rival in a girl in her class. Five different coloured lights leave an opened closet, with one of the lights hitting Mai in the process. Once Mai becomes one of the legendary Precure, she must gather her teammates to help her in the fight against the 'Dance of Night'.
