El príncipe maldito está basado en la historia de un joven que emprende un viaje en busca de la verdad acerca de su madre, su padre le había hecho creer que su madre estaba desaparecida, pero él se enteró que podría no ser así. Cuando él se entera quiere interrogar a su padre de porqué ocultarle la verdad, pero la persona que le hizo la confesión le pide que no le cuente nada a su padre de lo que le han dicho, y que inicie su búsqueda de manera que parezca que no sabe la verdad. Cuando él decide iniciar su búsqueda varias personas le cuentan sobre el pasado de su padre, sobre todas las desgracias que ocasionó, y las personas que mató, pero esa persona no le cuenta todo, le dice que él debe buscar a la hechicera que curó a su padre hace un tiempo atrás, para que le cuente toda la verdad, ya que el Rey padecía una enfermedad incurable, y la hechicera para curarlo le pide algo a cambio.

Un piloto sufre un accidente en el desierto del Sáhara y conoce a un niño llegado de un asteroide. Durante el tiempo que pasan juntos el principito rememora su viaje a través de otros planetas en los que conoce a una serie de personajes que no entiende, llegando finalmente a la Tierra donde comprenderá el sentido del amor y la amistad. Ésta revelación será la que le lleve a volver a su planeta, para seguir cuidando de sus volcanes y su flor.
