Kooky von Koopa awakens weak and sickly in a strange place without his memories and perhaps more importantly, his powerful magic. With no memories of where he came from, he has no clue of where he's going. As he recovers, new faces and new experiences cause him to question everything he's learned about the world. He realizes what he knew about himself was only the tip of the iceberg, and what he finds may be more than he bargained for. Ludwig Von Koopa, the more mature and sophisticated Koopaling out of all of his siblings, had begun hearing a voice inside of his head. The voice, he had recognized, to be someone he had thought he would never have to worry about again. He thought he had gotten rid of that side of him, not wanting to have to deal with being called the 'crazy' one. He tried to ignore the voice, but it was clear that he was not going to give up until everything Ludwig had worked hard to get rid of regained control. On top of that, an old enemy returns and tries to use him as an advantage to take down Bowser and all of the other kingdoms. He's tried his best, not wanting the crazy side of him to come out, again.
