Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes were inseparable as children. Unfortunately, Bucky had to move away when they were both twelve and the two lost contact. Now, as a senior in high school, he returns back to his hometown and back to Steve. Whether Bucky is ready to believe it or not, things aren't the same as they were five years ago. ~a story that does contain stucky, but the main focus is really Bucky navigating his way through his last year of high school~

Bucky can't believe how much time has passed after Steve had died. He feels empty, wakes up sweating and screaming at night. Seeing how his best friend dies all over again. Something has to change.
