The Guardians never fully met Sylvia, not until she saved Baby Groot a few months ago.
Sylvia Jackson, a young girl from Terra, human nonetheless. Mostly anyway. She was ordered by a group known as the Ferraro's, a group of iron skinned & headed aliens from Parvum, to get the file on Quill for some strange project. She had managed to get a look at him from a vent when he and Yondu managed to get caught by Nova. She didn't care at first, not until reading his file. Him being from Terra changed a few things. Instead of grabbing it and going straight back, she decided to be rebellious for once. She tore up and stuffed the file into her pocket and burned it before stealing a ship. Not to go back to the Ferraro's, but to make her own path.
It wouldn't be till years, when the Guardians got arrested on Xander that everything would tie together and they would all meet again.
The future Guardians of the Galaxy didn't meet Sylvia right away. Not on Xander when they five of them were battling for the orb, but when a 12 year old Sylvia managed to help them break out of prison. Now they have questions, how are they gonna defeat Ronan? Will they somehow not murder each other before then? Why does almost everyone of the members of the team have a weird sense of DΓ©jΓ vu with Sylvia? And will Sylvia end up joining this group of outlaws?
