They'd point to the old clock tower, sitting not to far away. 'Strange little fellow,' they'd sometimes hum, before you left. The tower was a large, beautiful piece of work, the workmanship was very unusual in Japan. You'd say it was interesting, and then continue on your way, forgetting all about the clock tower boy. If you ever got to know the said clock tower boy, you might call him insane. Or mysterious, but you'd probably call him both. He was strange, mind seeming to be all over the place, and mouth mumbling things incomprehensible to the inexperienced ear. Would you like to know what he is mumbling? Would you like to know what goes on underneath those green curls? Perhaps it's omniscient knowledge, or secrets too shrouded in ebony to fully see. Is it calculated with numbers and with strings of possible networks? A never-ending stream of constant plannings? Or maybe. it's all dark. Like floating through an endless void of blackened waters. No one could really know could they? Even mind readers. They'd see, and look and feel all the feelings, but they could never, ever, understand the messy, mad-as-hatter blueprint mind that was Izuku Midoriya.
